Public Spaces Trilogy
1999-2000
New Episode in Outdoor Living, 2000
Amid the chaos of the lunchtime crowd, New Episode in Outdoor Living travels the length of Little Collins St, Melbourne (between Swanston and Elizabeth). As the dancers undergo their journey they highlight the contrasts and similarities between their own spatial patterning and the line of action traversed by the general public. Dancers and non-dancers fall in and out of step, making the public as much a part of the piece as the performers.

Small Study for Large Rectangle, 1999
